I have two Pictures, Crown Chakra ON and OFF....

Ever since I can remember I have had two states of mind what I choose to call "pictures". They can switch, sometimes without me wanting it, sometimes depending on which road I take and sometimes (which comes with practice) I can change them myself. I first started noticing it when I was about 11.

What changes is my memories. Two separate pictures have separate events in them, and I cannot connect these two. When the picture changes I know it has changed even with my eyes closed. It's a feeling that changes as well. In addition, when it changes I can't clearly remember what I did before the change but I sort of know. Roughly.

Now I have tried to find someone with a similar condition for a long time. And I have tried to find out why that is. I saw all sorts of doctors when I was younger but I could not be any healthier.

Earlier today I had my chakras checked - in fact my dad and mum, who are both quite spiritual, checked them all. Full circles. Clockwise. Everything fine. No movement on the crown chakra. For some reason I had an idea to try chakras in the other Picture. In this Picture, everything was the same....Except the crown chakra was now open.

I swapped back to the other Picture and it stopped working. I decided not to tell my dad this time when exactly I swapped the Picture as he was holding the pendulum above my head. I wanted to see if he can guess it. I swapped the Picture again and in 5 seconds the pendulum was swinging around in full circles and none of us could believe it...

What's going on......

i often laugh at the misconceptions of perceptions...and the deceptions within them...for they are not real...yet in their fleeting presence they are as a passing bullet...which do no harm to those they pass...only those they Hit !! ...as it is those moments..when we are free from all illusions...that we can really See...what is & what is not...True or Real !! so be careful what you desire to intake within your Self...for it can become a contaminant to your purity...poisoning your mind & perceptions...oh we're back to "That" subject again are we ??? heehee

Haven't been posting on Tribe in awhile but I finished writing this and it seemed like a good thing to keep in mind for internet spiritual discussions.

Spiritual Word Games

Humans seek emotional security. We want to feel good about ourselves. Deep down, we rarely achieve those good feelings because the “self” we wish to validate is built on a fantasy we have created rather than our true essence. In the struggle to keep our self-image positive, we even distort our spiritual values and beliefs in service of our egos. We play spiritual word games.

We are identified with our egos. The ego is that collection of thoughts and feelings about ourselves which is based on our past. The ego wants to feel good about itself. The ego rarely enjoys genuine fulfillment because it is not real; it’s made up of ideas and concepts, rather than of true Being. It’s bound to be insecure. The ego compares itself with its perception of other people. It seeks validation in reaching a superior comparison. If you know something that others don’t, you think you’ll feel better. If you prove somebody wrong, you feel special.

Humans are creatures of conditioning. We are taught as children how to approach the world and we model our approach to new activities based on our past actions and successes. Whether it’s in the field of school, business or romance, we’ve learned to climb the ladder of success by molding ourselves relative to the predominant culture (or counter-culture) and rising in stature with effort, cunning, and increasing sophistication. We learn to evaluate the status of others by their dress, demeanor and company. We learn our place.

It shouldn’t be surprising then, that when we find the spiritual path, some of us apply our worldly formulas of success to it. We try hard, study the literature, use the jargon, and adopt the dress and mannerisms of the spiritual culture we are adopting.

It’s worth contemplating the pitfalls of the egoic model of spiritual advancement so we don’t waste our time building a new, seemingly improved, personality that’s merely a more self-righteous version of the unhappy person we’ve become.

With that in mind, I’d like to address playing “Spiritual Word Games.”

I call it “Spiritual Word Games” when a person manipulates spiritual concepts for ego reinforcement or ego justification. Here are some examples that might be called “Spiritual Word Games:”

“Everything is illusion. Nothing really happens so you shouldn’t be upset when I skin you alive.”

“I feel my body is telling me it needs to eat a quart of ice cream.”

“It’s not my problem if my wife is upset that I’m going to the ballgame instead of her family dinner. I’m detached about it.”

“God is in everything, even in this line of cocaine. I see the perfection in everything.”

“You say you feel divine love within you but someday you’ll realize that Love just ‘is’ and there is no ‘within’ and ‘without’.

We don’t need to debate if there is truth at some level in the statements above. They are “Spiritual Word Games” if their intent is to manipulate people, inflate the ego, or justify selfish actions. You have to be honest with yourself about ‘why’ you say something. ‘What’ you say is merely the content concocted for the intent. The temptation to be dishonest with ourselves is itself a warning that we are avoiding truth in favor of an upgraded rendition of our illusions.

“Spiritual Word Games” often rely on selectively surfing the layers of relative truth in search of what we want. Detachment arises from the virtue of accepting reality as it is, of remaining contented in the Self. But detachment makes a poor excuse for not caring about people’s feelings. If our actions are selfish but we detach ourselves from their consequences, we’re trying to work a loophole in the cosmic scheme, trying to claim a karmic exemption. To forgo justifying our actions doesn’t mean condemning yourself. Just be aware. Forgive your own folly as your forgive the folly of others, with understanding and compassion.

If we have our own bliss, we don’t have to grasp at the world for happiness or validation.

“Spiritual Word Games” can also mean using the Absolute level in support of some relative or selfish idea.

It’s true that a stick of chalk is made of vibrating energy; that doesn’t mean we can use it for a camera battery.

If you think you can smoke cigarettes without consequence because “Everything is God” then you might consider a meal of Dog excrement, that’s God too right?

If “the world is just an illusion” and “nothing ever happened,” why bother posturing yourself as spiritually superior to anybody else?

In India there is a story of a man whose Guru told him “Everything is God” The man went to a parade and fearlessly stepped in front of a mad elephant, even though the rider of the elephant was waving for him to run. The elephant squashed him but he managed to survive. His friends asked him why he stood in the Elephant’s way. He said he thought that since everything was God, that he should be safe in front of the Elephant. They reminded him that the driver who warned him to flee the elephant was also God.

Using spiritual knowledge or dogma to justify what we want to believe is a temptation for mainstream religious people as well. A passage from Leviticus is commonly cited to prove biblically that homosexuality is “an abomination.” Those same people would never dream of following the dietary laws of Leviticus, nor endorsing its view of slavery nor the death penalty for minor crimes of morality.

Beware of this phenomenon in Love and Relationships as well. It’s easy to demand unconditional love and non-violent communication when you’ve mistepped, just make sure you give as well as receive those blessings.

Spirituality is a state of “Being” and not a state of “Believing.” The ability to be very present and centered in pure “Being” with an open heart makes a person especially spiritual. Expertise with spiritual word games is a cosmetic that attempts to make us look better but doesn’t add anything real or enduring to our inner beauty.

It’s not only words that we use to make ourselves feel more spiritual. We learn to dress a certain way, speak in certain tones, and act according to our image of what “spiritually advanced” looks like.

On one level, projecting a spiritual image can lead to progress. There is a certain power to “Fake it until you make it.” When you behave according to your intent, you strengthen the energy of it, and release past patterns. We can choose to face the light, decide to be happy, and embrace truth. Our energy will flow into the mold of our intent and establish a new pattern that serves us better.

But if the motive behind our spiritual fashion is to climb the social ladder of a group, to influence the perceptions and opinions of our community, or to convince ourselves that we are better than we fear we are, then we are cheating ourselves out of the bliss that comes from a spiritual heart.

It’s hard to love people when we are rating ourselves against them in our minds.

Ironically, people don’t particularly like those who appear superior to them and they can sense when someone takes pleasure in their assumed superiority.

Peace and Love are our very nature. Seeking fulfillment from playing spiritual games means looking to your self-image for satisfaction. That’s bound to divide your personality from the Source of your Love. You are satisfaction itself if you open yourself to BEING. Immersed in your contented bliss, you see the best in people, you bring out the best in people, and your communion with the world banishes thoughts of ranking yourself or elevating your status.

It’s hard to get used to the idea that being yourself is more a matter of undoing habits, distractions and illusions than of building an upgraded persona. It’s easy to get energetic and enthusiastic about doing something. Letting go of our old doings while remaining content with ‘openness in Being’ is subtler. Our habitual desire to fall into the tracks of our old ways makes us restless for the comfort of the familiar. Be patient with the restlessness and just observe the tendency to cast past habits into new ideas. The energy of the past will dissipate when we stop feeding it. It just takes a little time.

Don’t judge yourself or be disappointed if you catch yourself indulging in some spiritual ego. That would just be another, more negative, expression of that ego. They are twin sides of the same insecurity: the desire to be ‘good enough’ and the fear that we are not ‘good enough’. Treat yourself with the same love and compassion that you would offer others. Accepting yourself goes hand in hand with accepting others.

So the trick is to ‘be present” with your motives and actions, without denial or judgment. Compassionately and honestly observe yourself. Maintain your awareness of your thoughts and feelings. Pointless spiritual games will lose their meaning when seen in the light of Awareness. The ‘Observer’ who can be aware of our thoughts and feelings without judgment is the gateway to the real self. Observe as the Self by Being the Self. The “thinker” that can lament about our weaknesses and failures is a facet of an illusory identity that separates us from Truth and Love. The ‘observer’ can be aware of the thinking without getting wrapped up in it. Don’t lose yourself in the train of thoughts.

It’s good to recognize these contrary forces that can be primary obstacles to transformation: we say we want to change because we’re not satisfied, and yet we habitually inhabit our usual state of consciousness because it’s a familiar rut that’s a challenge to unlearn. Stop playing the ego games you are addicted to by observing yourself playing them. Let go of inner assumptions about who you are that are really just habits and past conditioning.

Learning to step away from your habitual state of consciousness is one of the most powerful transformative skills you can learn, because otherwise, whatever you learn and do will be undone by your unconscious will to cling to the familiar.

Reside in your own BEING and observe. Embrace yourself and others with the Love that springs from within you. Abiding in yourself and being present and open to the world around you without judgment is a new orientation toward life that takes a willful mindfulness to establish as new awareness. Once you’ve lived in mindfulness for awhile, the peace and fullness of your being will make reverting to old negativity seem unthinkable.

Most people have lived in a negative bubble for so long that layers of mental and emotional clutter have obscured the wellspring of Peace and Love that is their own Being. They might have to endure a period of emptiness as they take out the inner trash before the inner light begins to shine. If spiritual work feels unrewarding at first, be patient and nurture yourself. The inner trash needs to be taken out sooner or later. Once you have observed negativity and tension within yourself, you understand that it doesn’t serve you. If you have to bear the sight and smells of your stinky inner trash while you purge yourself of it, bear with it realizing it’s better to be free from it than to have it darkly festering within you.

It’s only a matter of time and transformation before you know Peace as your very nature each moment.

Love yourself, Be yourself, and the world will shine in beauty around you.

THE ENERGY BEHIND ENLIGHTENMENT

Most people use ten percent or less of the Brain. Through the awakening of Kundalina energy the brain can organically evolve to a higher performance. No time has been spent investigating perhaps the most powerful energy of nature. Religious experience and its root.

Kundalini is the evolutionary potency in all humans. A fundamental bioenergy. It comes from an Indian word meaning “to join the soul with the cosmic soul,” In the ancient Indian language Sanskrit it is a term referring to a coiled force or energy originating at the base of the spine, and seated near the sex organs a coiled up sleeping snake. Implies latent energy or potential to expand. Serpent Power when activated travels up the seven chakras which are the nerve centers along the spinal cord and enlightens the mind. Expanding consciousness the nirvana of Buddha. It is responsible for human evolution and all-psychic abilities genius and spiritual illumination. Kundalini is the biological way to expand the mind.

Kundalini is the “secret” behind yoga and all other esoteric psychology’s and genuine occult mysteries. A scientifically measurable biochemical essence Kundalini is the substance that is the nourishment of consciousness. It penetrates the nervous system and influences the nerves to become the instrument of higher consciousness. This subtle substance is a snake-like force that fuels the mind in order to sustain a more active state, producing an awakened Kundalini individual, Note: snakes have two hemi penises and the power to hypnotize.

Such inner power is represented by the two snakes on King Tut’s headdress and the feathered serpent of Mexico and South America, The serpent in the Garden of Eden. The upward flow of Kundalini nectar (prana force, bioplasmic stream) is concentrated in the reproductive fluids of both men and women. When Kundalini is activated a reverse action takes place, feeding the center of the brain. “cavity of Brahma” in the brain’s ventricular cavity. Kundalini is the power that controls it. All great saints’’ mystics’ poets and people of genius, as well as the insane were influenced in this way.

If an experiment were performed it would prove the existence of the Kundalini force and show its physiological effects on the body. It could bridge the gap between science and mysticism and show the essential truth of religious experience and tradition. Religion has always been a companion of humanity. Religion came to guide humanity. No scientist could doubt the reality of this phenomenon once it has been observed and measured.. Such an experiment would uncover the vale of darkness and delusion under which humanity has been living. This evolutionary force needs publicity and actual proof would provide it. The results will speak for themselves. It will be a discovery more important than anything that has preceded it.

It is only from an awakened perspective that such observation can be made and this potential lies within everyone. As humanity evolved from cave men to the United Nations it becomes inevitable that this discovery will come to light and that there is indeed a purpose. A planned creation to our being. God protects our blue-green planet earth from the inferno of intergalactic space. Why? Because humanity has to attain to other states of consciousness for which all these recourses are needed to do this. We have been granted an intelligence to make the best use of it.

Life’s purpose and evolution’s power lead to cosmic laws, which must be obeyed for nature’s divine grace within us all to come to light. These laws as spoken of in all religions occult and mystical beliefs describe a path to enlightenment. As great empires have come and gone, so too must humanity’s faiths change.

My teacher, the late Pundit Gopi Krishna, an Indian Yogi-scientist and world renowned expert of Kundalini who has written over twenty books on the subject states, “We all know what happened whenever a political system became despotic and oppressive, a social system exacting and corrupt, and a religious system excessively authoritarian and dogmatic. There arose a demand for revision and reform. Political revolutionaries, reformers and prophets appeared on the scene, The old system was overthrown often with dreadful bloodshed, suffering and pain and a new one installed in its place. We have to cooperate with inner evolution.”

What is needed for a more positive harmonic peaceful and prosperous existence is a fuller understanding of humanity’s need for god. As society accelerates the brain must work increasingly beyond the point of balance. We are giants of intellect and dwarfs of the spiritual. We give no time to the spirit. Bringing on grave consequences. Gopi Krishna says. “ We have given too much emphasis to the material side of life at the cost of the spiritual side.” Time must be set aside for prayer, meditation, yoga or some other spiritual act in order to keep life’s evolutionary needs in balance and maintain inner sanity. Yoga meditation provides a channel for the opening of a powerful energy (inspiration) which can enable anyone to blossom into a genius, an artist, a poet, a mystic.

If this force awakens in an impure or out of balance form it can result in evil genius fanaticism delusions of grandeur, or mental illness (like manic depression and schizophrenia). There is a lot that is not understood that kundalini research will explain.

The brain is subject to the influence of countless factors connected with the life environment and the family history of an individual. When even slightly tainted or stained do to the pressure of reality or various causes such as wrong mode of life, unhealthy environment, faulty heredity, shock, frustration, repression, tension and numerous other factors. If the mind is abnormal the brain too must be a shareholder in the abnormality. There are subtle changes in some neuronic structures in the cranium. The real root of the abnormality is an impure or toxic condition of the prana. If you do not live a disciplined life then the awakening of this center can be unhealthy. A distorted vision of the same power. It means that the system is not pure and that the energy is not working in a healthy way.

There is a positive spiritual energy force within us all. Which has a physical counterpart in the human body that feeds a certain portion of the brain cavity of Brahma. This is a living electricity or intelligent energy that is needed to open the brain. The macrobiological changes and its effect can be observable and scientifically verified. Elevations of consciousness can only occur through the transformation brought by kundalini and by no other agency.

Nature shows compassion to humanity in order to help guide us safely through transgressions. God to me is a universal god that is not tied to any one organized religion. It gives us chance after chance. But when we digress off the path unhealthy results occur. We can not blame nature but ourselves. We have intelligence, we have reason, and we have learning. But if by having everything we ignore it then of course nature has no alternative except to teach us by suffering. Heaven is always merciful and all compassionate.

Great prophets, mystics, inventors, sages and people of genius have come to guide our race towards evolution’s goal. The study of the past will show the common thread within these great men and woman. Study is needed in order to educate us about how life should be led to be more in harmony with the forces of nature, which govern our life. A life of humility – love – purity - truth - moderation and compassion.

But how can we prove kundalini’s effect on the body? We can perform an experiment in a controlled environment. This experiment would take on hundred individuals with a healthy average intellect - normal typical people all with a great urge to awaken with a deep passion for spiritual matters and who are prepared to mold their lives in consort with the spiritual laws. Men and women aged twenty to thirty five. They would be put in a peaceful environment and subjected to various tests over a period of five years or more.

Scientists can observe them as the subjects try to awaken their kundalini. They will awaken to differing degrees. Tests will document the physiological changes that occur and will provide the empirical proof of what happens to the body as the kundalini force is awakened. I hypothesis that there are definitive biological differences in the blood, the cerebrospinal fluid and the composition of the brain matter in its subtle layers. Research on brain mapping. EEG ceg ces and the electricity in the body may show the kundalini force. The brain activity will be increased and its effect will be found all over the body. There will be metabolic processes, which can be measured. There will be physiological changes, which can be measured. This will convince the biologist that this change of the mind of the brain has physiological counter part. The result will start humanity towards a greater understanding of this evolutionary mechanism.

Once it is proved that the potential to awaken lies within everyone and is the most valuable asset we have, people will strive for it. The result on humanity will be comparable to the splitting of the spiritual atom. Instead of releasing a nuclear holocaust it will unleash the beginning of a utopian age, our cosmic destiny that can transform a mortal into an immortal and eternal source of happiness.

The awakening of these energies produces genius in mortal man or woman. Creativity, love and compassion emerge and pathways are opened to a future, awakened humanity. We will become the trailblazers of our own inevitable destiny. A utopian age of peace and harmony will follow. All political and spiritual processes will be developed for the highest good. Individuals will develop their “inner Sun” to the fullest during their lifetime. Kundalini research is part of an evolutionary force that compels us to look for enlightenment as an experience accessible to all. To awaken is the goal nature has set for us.

The time is right for we can use state of the art technology to study the phenomenon. We can study the common thread that lies at the root of all religion mysticism which is to guide humankind’s understanding of evolutionary change The understanding of kundalini is now becoming provable for the first time.

Sigmund Freud in fact understood that the libido is directly responsible for mental imbalances. At some point in time we will discover that all we know can be reduced to the bio-chemical. This center of the brain cavity of Brahma is still undiscovered but could be called the “third eye” or the “philosopher’s stone”. Kundalini will for the first time reveal how energy is supplied to the brain and that it is superintelligent. Freud’s concept about libido is of a psychic energy drawn from the libidinous tendencies in human beings. Which is to say the reproductive energy but only from a psychic point of view. He does not say that it has organic roots. This is what famed psychologist Wilhelm Reich emphasizes that this libido must have roots deep in the biochemical structure of the body.

The sex organs in a state of awakened kundalini produces a vast amount of fluid to feed the newly activated part of the brain. Sexual energy may well be directly connected to a mechanism that is affected by evolutionary advancement. Kundalini is the fundamental bioenergy stored primarily in the sex organs. This basic life force is normally associated with the genitals for simple continuance of the species by providing a sex drive. The tie in to the human sex drive and higher consciousness must be explored. Why do men have ejaculation while asleep or wake up with erect penises. There is a force of nature that needs physical release to be sane.

It is called the “goddess Kundalini” or “Mother Nature” because a mother’s love is similar to the bliss of higher consciousness. Woman have more feelings! Life is part of them - menstruation each month reminds them of that. Soulmates, man-woman have intercourse to prolong the race (children). Plus experience the love, kundalini evolutionary force of completion, happiness and bliss that keeps growing.

Sexual or relaxation exercises may release inner pressure of an over-taxed libido. An evolutionary super-nectar, extraordinary life force feeds the mind, a kissing food of unlimited bliss. The sublimation raising up of sex energy is the basic lever of all spiritual disciplines. But the all-inclusive nature of sex energy is a misnomer. Reproduction is but one of the aspects of the life energy of which the other theater of activity is the brain.

Humanity’s basic needs are for sex, god and a need for prayer to control our environment i.e.. hope within everyone lies the ability to awaken. Humanity needs love to balance our own unbalanced state and give us time to meditate, to control our over-taxed brain. Humanity’s sex drive may well be the only time some people relax from their hectic lifestyles. There is a need to just kick back and enjoy. Sex could be a form of deep meditation and experience between two soul mates. Loves deep blissful passion, kundalini’s purest expression an active prayer one of the most powerful forces in the universe. A positive experience that ends in an explosion of uncontrollable bliss. However for the average person, sex is not a deep meditation but is merely a physical release, a small slice of love’s true potential.

What is needed is that deep magnetism of love - a yin/yang of a universal constant. First came the big bang theory for the creation of the universe, now the love theory of creation states that the universe is a constant - always was here. That pure love magnetism, that yin/yang. Example. Trees love earth. Earth love the sky the sky loves the stars space… Love is consciousness … The universe is male and female and in love with both forces.

Suppression of sexuality out of contempt or hatred of our lower nature is an act of ignorance leading only to atrophy of the sexual system. Celibacy is contrary to nature. Since enlightenment is an evolutionary process with heredity playing an important role stamping the genera of the enlightened so that their biological gains through spiritual disciplines can be passed to their progeny. DNA research will eventually discover the consciousness gene.

Sexual energy has been represented in ancient art and statues by an erect organ. Showing the upward streaming of the reproductive essence that effects the transformation of consciousness.

In order to discover the factual evidence behind consciousness, one must first study kundalini energy and its effects. Scientific proof will free humanity to accept the fact that within everyone lies the temple of god leading to a clear realization of our own divine nature. Man’s incomprehensible inner bliss and oneness with divinity and a way of life that overpowers doing wrong or any other action that goes against this cosmic evolutionary force. The misunderstanding of kundalini has led to environmental decline that seems rooted to ultimate destruction of Planet Earth i.e. ozone layer, burning of rain forests, religious wars and terrorism, rape and murder….

It is one relationship not just to their own kundalini but also towards each other. It is the combination of the two that will lead not only to harmony but also to sharing and ultimately to progress. The appeal especially in these times is kundalini which offers hope promise. There is negative energy (i.e. ours) that can be transformed into positive communal conscience which will try to eradicate feelings of helplessness, negativity, pain and the burden of feeling isolated.

Why are people so selfish? Due to not having an understanding of kundalini. Just desperation, helplessness and power struggles which lead to hurting others and ourselves or apathy both of which have a profound effect on our history and the mood of the energy.

Our goal and objective is to create a paradise on earth. A peaceful co-existence, long lives, greater achievements and more freedom. A utopian society living by the laws uncovered by the experiment. A union with the divine is a sum total of the physical laws of the universe. We are in the process of taking the next evolutionary leap. The new century is here.

The study of what lifestyle would be best to advance ones inner potential is a task that may take eons to complete. With the help of divine grace may we free the veil that covers the eyes of the blind masses. We who have been chosen for this colossal task are the humble instruments of this evolutionary force. What is God?

For all intents and purposes God is the benevolent Silly Putty in which everything has its being. From here on in, this benevolent Silly Putty type stuff will be referred to as Nature.

There are Laws of Nature which organize how intents and purposes in Nature are made manifest. Not knowing about these Laws does not exclude you from being subject to them.

Those who co-operate with the Laws of Nature, consciously or unconsciously, suffer less existential anguish that those who do not.

The following ideas illustrate how to be in Nature so that you are in accordance with its Laws.

Being in Nature

Being in Nature is something no one can escape. Like a fish is in water, a human being (being human) is in Nature. Nature is the stuff we’re in and it means you well. It is perfectly pleased with what you have evolved into so far and wants to help you for eternity in being the stuff in which all your intents and purposes are made manifest.

Being in Nature is currently inevitable. What’s left to be decided are the qualities of life one may experience while being a being in Nature.

Your quality of life is directly related to your relationship with Nature. How you decide to be in Nature is how Nature is to you.

If you are a certain way in Nature, Nature will be that certain way to you.

In order to see the healing and trusting nature of Nature, you must embody the vibratory pattern of a healingness and trustingness.

Pure goodness and support are the motives of Nature. So much so that in your absolute freedom you are absolutely free to forget about what you are in Nature (aka. Truth)..

To remember your Nature is to once again become a member of what you always have been in truth.

You are in a stuff. Asking you where the stuff you’re in is, is like asking a fish where the water it is in is.
The stuff you are in is as life supporting to you as water is to a fish, and just as invisible because it is everywhere. It’s infinitely supporting in that without it the fish would have no life.

You are the feelings you seek. In order to feel them, you need to feel them in Nature now.
Your feeling the feeling you want sends out invisible radio type waves into Nature and because you are one with Nature, as those waves spread out and expand in Nature, they’re doing that in what you are.

In order to increase happiness in the Nature you experience, first think of a reason to be happy and then remove that reason to feel happy and allow the feeling of being happy, while in Nature, for no reason. This happiness will radiate out from your center like a ripple in a pond. These ripples are invisible like the ripples a fish makes when it swims underwater is to it, but you can feel them using the only instrument we’ve got to feel our current Nature, namely, our bodies.
Send out waves of happiness and open to receiving them at the same time. To give is to receive.
How else can you know more happiness except by being it in Nature?

Continue reading and you will be introduced to ways of being in Nature that greatly lessen suffering caused by being out of accord with Nature. Embodying these qualities will bring you into accord or harmony with the Laws of Nature so that you remember you are those very Laws.

Objectivity and subjectivity join in Nature. They are context and content respectively. Also, the base Silly Putty and the form created from its formlessness. And it wishes you and everything made from itself (that’s Everything) well. The Silly Putty wishing you ill will would be as silly as it would be for you to wish a pain to develop in your own body. That’s insanity and this Silly Putty isn’t that kind of silly.

Forgiveness is remembering that you’re all made of the same stuff, One Universal Body as it were, and wishing ill will on each other is as silly as wishing for pain in your own body.

Everyone is doing the best they can with the information they’ve been provided. Now that you’ve been provided with this information today you can decide to be of a life enhancing quality in Nature at all times.

Everything you can experience is a relation in Nature. Just because you think you are not related to something in Nature doesn’t make it so. You are more intimately related to every person you’ve ever met than even a boy is related through blood to his father. Blood relation pales in comparison to how you are related to All in the truth of what you are in Nature.
Just because you think you can cut an infinite ocean in half does not make it so. To think one can be separated from an infinite ocean is a delusion. A drop of ocean can pretend he’s not part of the ocean and it makes no difference to the ocean. It makes a big shitty difference to the drop though…

If you ask an all-giving-freedom-generator for an illusion of being unique, it will give you the illusion that you killed God, that very all-giving-freedom-generator , the benevolent Silly Putty in which intents and purposes are made possible. You will have wished for an opposite to truth, and Truth’s wish is to serve you, even into your own insanity.

This Nature also wants you to know about it. It wants you to make beautiful, benevolent play with its Laws until you wake up and re-member what you truly are, what you are in truth.

All impulses and waves are but echoes of the first loving intent. The first decision to Be something rather than not Be was the generation of On-ness. Because that On-ness happened – It Is – and can’t not be. On-ness delivers creative freedom in All-ways. This is the recipe of becoming a member of the Eternal Life Club. You have always been a member now you’ve got to just re-member or re-new your membership.

Just because you have forgotten your Eternal Life in Nature does not make it so.

Just because you think you can blemish Eternity with your sins does not make it so.

Sex delivers a temporary sense of fulfillment, but you soon see that nothing temporary can be fulfilling. Nothing temporary ever fills you permanently. Of course.
Desiring anything so that it can give you a temporary satisfaction cannot be truly satisfying. The only thing that can truly satisfy is something permanent. How you are related to Nature is that permanent satisfaction. It will quench all thirst and fill all hunger.

Your mental relationship to every human being in Nature occurs at the social level of your thinking. In order to place responsibility upon everything in Nature except the fact that you think you killed God, the only place you are actually able to respond, you pretend you are not sharing in a Universal Body with your neighbor. Just because you pretend doesn’t make it so. Being mean to anyone is as silly as wishing your leg would fall off.

Start by using these thoughts as a framework and adjust wherever necessary. The Law of Co-operation is infinitely more powerful than the illusion of competition.

We’ve been in the desert so long that we think it’s normal to be constantly thirsty and hungry. Your true Nature is the very permanent solution to all problems you appear to have. (Just because problems appear doesn’t make them real.)

Be willing to break the habitual thinking that goes on in your head about who you think you are. No thought can encapsulate your greatness in the light of truth. You were born into a conversation that didn’t have a clue about the truth of what we are in relation to Nature. That conversation is playing over and over like a really scratched and battered record. Only someone in the grips of insanity would value a recording like that. The only way they could free themselves from what they weren’t in Nature would be by remembering what they are in Nature, through what Nature Is, and cannot not be.

There is no opposite of on-ness. Off-ness is just dormant on-ness and on-ness cannot be obliterated. Something that is On has to be there for obliteration to take place. Even the Devil is at play in God. God has no opposite.

Love cannot be betrayed. He who loves can never be a victim. He who gives more care and support cannot escape a more caring and supportive world as a result of his actions. Nature becomes what you are in it.

He who forgives cannot avoid seeing forgiveness directed towards himself as well.

He who judges no one as guilty is forever innocent.

You are completely loved and completely loveable. Seen as you truly are and always have been, which is perfect. If perfection changes and it’s still perfect, did it ever change?

If you forget for a second when you’re watching a movie, that you’re watching a movie, does that make the movie real? No. It doesn’t. Not even to you in truth.
So it is with you in your life without complete satisfaction. Just because you got caught up in a story of sin, you can’t become a sinner. You are the innocent aspect of creation.

I speak with authority because I have done the work necessary to find a permanent and complete satisfaction within myself through what I am in Truth. On the way down this path I noticed that all human beings have this capacity for complete satisfaction through knowing what they too are in Truth. You can all feel completely satisfied and when you do feel this way you will expand and create in Nature on a scale infinitely more profound and powerful than the level from which you are currently occupying.
Only those who open-mindedly and actively contemplate these and other ideas pointing to the truth of All That Is are allowed to argue with what has been written. And those who honestly contemplate these truths will have no desire to argue, for the truth has no opposite.
While this persona has traveled the “Spiritual Path” towards our Nature, and therefore speaks with the authority of one who has been there, I have no need to be authoritative. You can take this information or leave it. The ocean doesn’t mourn the drop that was never lost. Why would a drop be so silly as to think it can escape the infinite ocean of Being-ness that is by nature – everywhere.

You cannot extinguish what I am and I cannot extinguish you. We are unextinguishable, we all-ways have been, and just because we act completely contrary to this in society and in our heads does not make it so.

Would you hold a grudge against your baby finger after you hit it with a hammer? You’re being even more extremely stupid than that if you don’t completely forgive everyone who you think was done you wrong. Drop all your mentally retarded (a spade is a spade) lawsuits. Suing is like the right arm stealing from the left arm. When this happens, does the being in charge of the arms actually lose anything at all. No!
Everything actually belongs to Nature. If you ever possess anything, it is not yours, you are just it’s custodian as everything in truth actually belongs to Nature. Just because you act and behave childish and contrary to this truth does not make it so. Silly.
Even your body belongs to Nature. You are not the body. You are the ghost in the machine. As that ghost you are permanently related to that certain On-ness that never goes away. Through this heritage you are Immortal. You were here before the birth of any universes and you’ll be here after all universes have been created. That’s cause for celebration. Don’t be afraid to wake from your dream of limitation. You are unlimited in truth. Just because you dreamt otherwise does not make it so.

Everything that makes you suffer is a dream that does not reflect Truth.
Everything that makes you temporarily happy is a dream that does reflect a sliver of truth.
Truth is not a dream. It brings permanent happiness with it.
Truth is irresistible. Just surrender to it and eliminate heartache in the only way it can be truly eliminated – that’s permanently.

What Now?

More will be written soon (relatively speaking), but first you must practice being ceaselessly forgiving of those around you. If you thought or were going to think, “Well what about forgiving the child molester or the rapist?” please allow me to suggest you first try forgiving that ass who cut you off in traffic, and/or everyone in your family, those people who you’re supposed to be able to love the most.
Baby steps in forgiveness are your mandatory homework. It won’t be easy since you’ve become so adept at holding grudges, so remember to be compassionate and forgiving to yourself as well. Ultimately your Self is the only Being you’re forgiving in Nature.

Separation Consciousness and the I Am Self

Separation consciousness is an illusory state of consciousness. It is the prevalent state of everyone still living in the reality we call 3D or third dimensional. In this reality, time is experienced as linear, when, in fact, our existence is moving in the flow of one present moment to the next present moment. We see ourselves, in 3D, as alone in a Universe where we are dependent on others, whether in human form or an energetic or spiritual Deity.

This evidenced by many humans feeling they need another human to be complete, whether friend, romantic partner, co-worker, family member, teacher, preacher or leader. We feel less than whole, all the while desiring someone else fill us up, fix us or be responsible for us. A correlation to this is a mind set that has many humans believing they are victims, rather than embracing this life experience as the product of their Soul’s plan for them to learn or experience in this human form. Our Soul chooses to experience life in a human body because all the challenges and obstacles present opportunities for more rapid growth and understanding than available in Spirit form only.

As each of us moves to embrace all of our life experiences, feel joy and gratitude for them, and BE responsible for our own creation, we will also begin to experience our own love of self transmuting that which drew those less than desirable experiences to us. This will initiate us clearing our physical bodies so we may more easily experience our I Am Self or Soul as an intimate part of us, rather than.

Preparing for 2012:
Dealing with and Defeating Negativity by Roy Francis Stewart

In order to deal with Negativity, you need to understand how the universe works and how you work within this Universe. Negativity is the polarity of the Positive, in balance and what makes up this 3rd dimension. Without Negativity, you would have NO 3rd Dimension. It wouldn't exist and thus, you wouldn't exist in it.

The confusion is what and who we are really AND the fact that most of us don't know who and what we are and are thrust into this world and have no memory of any other experience, are ill equipped and are exposed only to the negativity we see. We think that this is all there is. Then we get all depressed, thinking that I have to escape or I spiral down and turn to over indulgence in drinking, drugs, whatever which of course, draws us down deeper into the negativity and thus some experience only these hell type worlds, then get comfortable with them, adjust to them and are perhaps live in them not unlike the living dead. Obviously anyone around you whether it be an individual or the news, or a war or countless other negative things drags you down to this side of the polarity.

BUT, the question is, what is the root of all this? And the answer is simply IGNORANCE. Ignorance of who we really are, what this universe is and how it operates.

So, the religions help point the way (but even they do not have all the answers). Mythologists pave the way, and filmmakers paint the way (But I’ll be the first to tell you, I don’t have all the answers either).

Now, I'm not a Buddhist per se, but they get pretty close to an understanding. However, the problem is, the individual still lives in this world and still may not know the ultimate truth. They may label the world as samsara, an illusion and seek refuge from it in meditation. Meditation is great, a great tool, but in order to escape the illusion world which is the 3rd dimension, one would have to spend the majority of their time in meditation. The next question is...is this really living?

So lets cut to the chase (mythologists and prophecies claim we may be headed into a higher dimension – the 5th dimension):

This is the 3rd dimension. It's real, it's not an illusion. If you're here, there is NO escaping it. You can spend 6 days and 23 hours in meditation if you want to, but when you come out of it, you step into the 3rd Dimension world for One hour and then you immediately realize that wow, this world is very negative and the Tibetans are still getting beaten up over there and the war is still going on over there and some soldiers just got blown up and on and on and on, so, man I want to escape, so I better go back into my meditation to seek refuge from the illusory world. Again, is this living?

I say NO. So we need simply to shift to a new understanding. Ready?

1) This world is the world of duality, the world of polarity, of positive and negative. This is the world of the 3rd dimension.

2) There are countless dimensions above this 3rd dimension.

3) The world of God or Source or Pure Mind or Oneness, is NOT in the 3rd dimension. It isn't BUT we are. This world of God or Source is singularity not duality. it is a singular all positive dimension that gives birth to all lesser dimensions.

4) However, inside of us, is the DIVINE SPIRIT, that is the real us. The Divine Mind encased in a flesh body here to function in this material world - this 3rd dimension - with a purpose.

5) We recognize, realize or understand that our true nature is SINGULARITY, or Oneness. But we live in a world of Duality.

6) If we attach ourselves only to the material, and to the degree that we do so, we also separate ourselves further from the truth (see 5 above). We only perceive the negative and can get caught up in it.

7) Society is set up to lock us into the material 3rd dimension world and Controllers profit from keeping us in this sleep state. (In example, when you're in Kindergarten, do they tell you that you are an infinite being capable of being a co-creator in this dimension because the real you is the Divine encased in a material body and as such this reality is molded by your every thought? NO. They teach you the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic and you are indoctrinated into eventually serving this system.) (This whole system is against the divine plan, thus may fall, as we are starting to see)

8) With this new understanding, you know who you are, where you are from and where you will eventually go to. Right now, you are a walking, talking, living Sage - a physical manifestation or expression of the non-physical Divine Mind. Sure there is alot of Negativity. And out of compassion, you can and do help others. But you also enjoy life. You take a walk by the beach and enjoy the surf pounding. You smell the flowers, you listen to music, you laugh, you cry, you create, you sleep, you eat, make love, communicate, whatever. You simply enjoy life.

9) By your example, you are released from the world of illusion as you know the Truth. You are no longer ignorant and a prisoner of the 3rd dimensional world. You are also no longer a prisoner of Dogma - something man made. Also by your example, you are living in balance with the Divine Universe and as such you are in flow. Good things happen to you. The landscape changes simply because you walked past it. The kid you said hello to is transformed. The cat you gave some milk to learns to trust humans. You are walking your talk and you are aiding in the raising the consciousness of the entire planet and everything in it. Even the pebble evolves because you held it in your hand.

10) This is the best part. This understanding can come in an instant or it could take years. It is under the direction of a higher intelligence beyond your comprehension, it is coming from an infinite place. And the exciting NEWS is that it is now directly coming in through energy, through light, through people, through star emanations, its moving as part of a quickening and now is the time to jump on and ride the wave to immortality and enjoyment. This is the realm of SPIRIT. Spirit, the above overcomes the material, the below. It’s building up but it seems to point to the fast approaching December 21, 2012 date. Let the shift begin!

Ascension & the Need to be Grounded

As humans we are always working to improve our connection to Source, to become more enlightened. Yet every time we let go and feel the full connection to Source, feel the ‘symptoms’ of that connection, our first thought is “I must ground myself so I don’t feel this way!”. We worry that we will not be safe or we will not be able to function properly while in this state.

The truth is, we are always grounded, in fact we are over-grounded most of our life in form, simply by Being a human body. The fear we have of letting go and connecting to Source fully is because it feels so different to us.

We are to let go and trust, releasing fear of the lack of grounding. Try thinking of grounding as nothing more than a consciousness of being in form, to serve in form, to learn, teach and grow in form, and to honor Mother Earth along the way. Never worrying that you are going ‘too far out there’, as thoughts like that only holds you back from full enlightenment and connection. You will never ‘go’ anywhere you are not supposed to go. You can’t leave your body or the connection of your body to Mother Earth this way. Nothing bad is happening when you no longer feel the heaviness and weight of your body. Only good can come of it. That place is where you will find your Answers, Truth, Oneness with ALL, and full connection to Source.

Divine Moments of Truth

Please comment and advise if this resonates. I remember asking the sacred spirit to teach me 'how one should go about allowing the telepathic abilities of the heart to be accepted by the mind.' I also remember asking specifically ' How can we spread the One Love vibration through water.' I had been influenced by Drunvalo Melchizedek and Masaru Emoto. Instead of getting straight answers I was taken on a course in 'the nature of reality 101'. Since then I have been introduced to Diamond Water (google that) but I am still working on increasing my psychic abilities...

CHOOSING LOVE INSTEAD OF FEAR (the only reason we ar here!)

The only reason we incarnate is to learn how to choose love instead of fear. It does not matter what you do for a living, where you live, or who you marry, etc. The only purose you have is to extend love to everyone you come into contact with, including yourself. This is how you BECOME what you already ARE: LOVE. The only way to restore perfect inner peace that is stable and unwavering is to choose to be willing to extend love to everyone you come into contact with, including yourself.

By "love" I mean unconditional acceptance. And by "unconditional acceptance" I mean God. By "you" I mean me. And by "me" I mean you. We are all ONE and we are all LOVE. And by "we" I mean GOD. And by "God" I mean LOVE...You get the picture!

The most amazing miracle has transpired in my life over the last 24 hours as a result of my own sincere willingness to be a vessell for love, to be a vessell for that which I AM, which is God. I wanted to share...

I put a profile on My Space about a month ago. I saw a woman on there named Joni Ellen Jenkins. This is my name. I almost asked her to join my friend list but hesitated and then did nothing. I had a very stressful custody hearing scheduled with my son's father yesterday. When I got home from the courthouse yesterday there was an e-mail from Joni Ellen Jenkins who lives in Pennsylvania. Her e-mail address is jonijenks@gmail.com and mine is jonijenkins@gmail.com. She had suspected that her insurance company had sent e-mails meant for her to me. Sure enough I had the e-mails in my box that day. We started to breifly chat and make small talk through e-mails. She invited me to join her friend list on My Space. One thing led to another and she told me she had cancer and is only a 40 year old mom. I am a 39 year old mom. I started writing to her from a spiritual perspective, and then suddenly I realized what was going on!

Here is the last e-mail I sent to her; this is incredilbe!!

Dear Joni Ellen Jenkins,

Oh my God, I think that meeting you has been the greatest gift God has ever given me!

I have been trying to release all my own walls to self love, with perfect inner peace being the goal. I have made much progress but there was still a little bit of work left.

I went through a traumatizing custody trial with my son's father yesterday, but won. However the experience made me more aware of my own walls to love. When I came home from the courthouse I got your e-mails.

I know why I hesitated when I first saw the My Space profile. There was a timing issue. I was meant to make contact with you right after court when my own fears were so triggered and my walls to love were easy to see.

When you told me about the cancer my heart was flooded with so much love and compassion for you. It is always easier to see someone else's perfection and divinity than your own. It is always easier to see someone else's wall to self love than it is to see your own. As I was loving you and contemplating that we have the exact same name, Joni Ellen Jenkins, the reality that we (all of humanity) really are ONE permeated my consciousness. I had the profound realization that by deeply loving and forgiving you (Joni Ellen Jenkins) I was deeply loving and forgiving myself (Joni Ellen Jenkins).

The truth is that you are love, you are God, and you are soooooooooo powerful and perfect. All you need do is forgive yourself for forgetting the truth. That is always easier said than done. And all I need do is forgive myself for forgetting the truth. By loving you so deeply I have let down yet another wall to self-love and that is the greatest gift I have ever received. When I love you I love myself becasue we are, in truth, ONE. The fact that we have the same name is just a coincidence, but has aided me in dramatically shifting and healing my perception.

You truly are God--you knew exactly when the right time was to contact me so that the highest form of healing would take place for both of us.

Balance and Harmony

Balance & Harmony

Most of us in the Ascension Process still have to interact heavily in the 3D environment daily. We seldom can create the time needed to maintain balance and harmony. No matter where we are on our path, we are here to experience life in a human body. This includes living with the drama of others, loss or death of loved ones, stress, traffic & commuting congestion, thoughts of the future, etc., but we do not need to let those take us out of balance and harmony.

The place of balance and harmony is something we self create. We need to accept that all of our life experiences are exactly what our Soul or I Am Self desires for our growth. We draw all of it to us. Learning how to acknowledge, accept and love ourselves for creating these experiences is the key. We will become aware, through our own intuitive knowing, our Soul’s Plan. Then we will more easily understand when we are out of integrity with our Self. When we embrace this ongoingly, we embrace where we are in each moment and the next true steps on our own path will open to us/US naturally.

There are simple tools of guided visualization, breath work and energy movement we can easily learn, that will enable us to bring ourselves quickly into a place of balance and harmony. The more frequently we use these tools the easier it is to find balance and harmony in our life no matter what others, around us, are creating.

The place of Balance and Harmony will be a natural state and we will be aware of our own selves as our own Source. In knowing our selves as our own Source we will begin to truly manifest with and from intent using our own Life Force.

Owning Your Own POWER!!!

We assert that most people don’t own their own power. Most of us have Belief Systems that give credit for our power, wisdom and self worth to another being whether human or Spirit. We make ourselves responsible to eternally give back to them, by taking care of them, by nurturing them, by doing things for them, when it probably no longer serves our Highest Good to do so. When we do that we do not own our own power.

Much of what we believe to be channeling with other beings, is really coming from our twin or higher self. We create ‘someone’ in order to give the message more credibility. Sometimes it’s Angels, Archangels, Gods, Goddesses, Fairies, Divas, Animal Spirits, Trees, Whales, Dolphins, Mother Earth, Ascended Masters, when in truth it is our higher self. Our limiting belief of where the information is coming from, making someone other than our Higher Self responsible, is blocking acceptance of us and our own power.

This takes us back to self love, self respect and in believing self to be All.

Only when you are clear of your own issues and have embraced your Self as your own true beloved, will you have the space to meet another in relationship and gracefully resolve differences? Normal relationships are formed karmically to trigger issues for you to heal and release within your own Self. So often we try to place the blame or make another person responsible when in fact it is all coming from us. All of the imperfections are our own.

This is another form of giving up our power. We blame others when things are going wrong in us and we give others the credit for the good things in us, never owning that it all resides in Self. This produces a lack of integrity within our Self. To come into our own power we must be willing to embrace all that we find within… as our OWN.

Healing Mother Earth

My partner and I connected with Mother Earth during a mutual Sacred Service meditation. Her message is that She plans to heal Herself from within, in concert with the humans who choose to heal themselves from within. As each person heals themselves from and with their own inner core Life Force so does the planet. That is how we heal her, by healing ourselves.

She could heal herself in a moment but that would probably be catastrophic for humanity, causing such events as earthquakes, tidal waves, and huge weather shifts. She could do this now but she is choosing instead to work with those of us who recognize that it all begins within our Selves as our own Source. Looking to starships or external forces to heal or repair Her, keeps alive the conversation of separation. Mother Earth is already One with Her Self and with All That Is, not just a single one Source.

There is no separation between one Source and the beginning or All That Is. None of us is separate from anything. The robins on the lawn, a whale off the coast of Alaska, or a planet near the Great Central Sun, we are all One. To experience that level of oneness within our bodies, each must start working within, so they can light their own path, to be their own healer, teacher, whatever.

All the labels and titles of old beliefs, spiritual structures, and religious systems contain the seeds of separation in human consciousness. To move beyond that one must release all attachments to all conscious and unconscious beliefs and thoughts that arise from separation consciousness.

We've realized that Mother Earth has chosen a new path of evolution, of co-existence with human consciousness, and we are invited to play in the paradise as her partners in Her Sacred Union with All That Is. It is the conscious evolution of people like us that makes this possible.

The access to this is quite simply releasing all attachments to everything that has ever given us our identity. We must be willing to surrender everything, even our will, to the God self or Source within US.

We must be here NOW, in each moment, ever present that everything from memory, the past, limits our ability to perceive that which is next and possible on our path. There is no destination other than the journey of awakening to All of Us.

Entering New Earth

There is no time frame to entering the New Earth. It all depends on you clearing your self/Self and being able to fully embody all of your Life Force. By doing this you remember that the New Earth has always been here, always was, and always IS.

It is our limited beliefs and our unclear bodies that do not allow us to step into it as our reality at this time.

This is why we keep hearing, "It's almost time to enter the New Earth", or "We will be entering the New Earth soon" only to hear shortly thereafter that something has shifted and it's not here yet or not time yet. We create our own reality, which can be choosing to be in the New Earth or not. In truth, 'we' are the only obstacle in our own way.

Fear, unreleased issues, and attachment to limiting beliefs has everything to do with holding us back.

Paradise for each of us is within our Self. We need look no further than within to find it and make it our reality. If we are unable to make it our reality, we must take it as a signal there is still more clearing work to do with Self. There's nothing wrong with having more clearing work to do. It is a continuous process. We honor our true self when we accept and acknowledge this as a fact of living in form.

Truly returning to the essence and power of Self begins with constant clearing of attachment to others, to limiting beliefs and to issues that block our connection.

Detachment and release from these things removes burden, fear, responsibility, and the 3D illusions, which sets us FREE to live in paradise, NOW!

Hello everyone I am new here. Recently I've been taking my yoga practice more seriously and meditating more. Unpleasant feelings have been arising like guilt, anxiety and confusion stemming from what I believe to be unresolved emotions and toxic relationships I have. I grew up in a toxic enviroment full of negativity and physical and emotional abuse (from my mother) and all that remains is manipulation. They barely call and avoid MY calls but, all my mother and brothers call me for is to complain, criticize, blame me for things or throw things in my face (my brothers are 9 and 10 years older than me). I try to remain positive and not be miffed but it's hard. I know there is a lesson here but what? How can I have a pleasant relationship with people who do not respect me as an adult, manipulate, lie and only use me for favors when it is convenient for them but disappear and turn away when I am in need? Should I just help them and go about my business? Or let them go until they come around? I have spoke to them but they deny these things and become angry. I just want to do what is healthy for me and my new family and clear these blockages. Thank you, *Namaste*

What is kundalini?

``Kundalini'' literally means coiling, like a snake. In the classical literature of hatha yoga kundalini is described as a coiled serpent at the base of the spine. The image of coiling, like a spring, conveys the sense of untapped potential energy. Perhaps more meaningfully kundalini can be described as a great reservoir of creative energy at the base of the spine.
It's not useful to sit with our consciousness fixed in our head and think of kundalini as a foreign force running up and down our spine. Unfortunately the serpent image may serve to accentuate this alien nature of the image. It's more useful to think of kundalini energy as the very foundation of our consciousness so that when kundalini moves through our bodies our consciousness necessarily changes with it.

The concept of kundalini can also be examined from a strictly psychological perspective. From this perspective kundalini can be thought of as a rich source of psychic or libidinous energy in our unconscious.

In the classical literature of Kashmir Shaivism kundalini is described in three different manifestions. The first of these is as the universal energy or para-kundalini. The second of these is as the energizing function of the body-mind complex or prana-kundalini. The third of these is as consciousness or shakti-kundalini which simultaneously subsumes and intermediates between these two. Ultimately these three forms are the same but understanding these three different forms will help to understand the differerent manifestations of kundalini.

What is the difference between prana and kundalini? What is the difference between qi (or chi) and kundalini?

First let us try to relate to concepts from the same tradition - prana and kundalini. Prana has been translated as the ``vital breath'' and ``bio-energetic motility''; it is associated with maintaining the functioning of the mind and body. Kundalini, in its form as prana-kundalini, is identical to prana ; however, Kundalini also has a manifestations as consciousness and a as a unifying cosmic energy. One could ascribe these same aspects to prana as well so past a certain point these become distinctions without differences.

From the subjective standpoint of an individual actually experiencing the awakening of kundalini I have found three completely different opinions:

The first opinion is that a pranic awakening is only a prelude to a full kundalini awakening. Tibetan yogins that I have encountered consider the activation of prana (Tibetan: rlung) as merely a prerequisite for the activation of kundalini (Tibetan: gTummo). What's attractive about this viewpoint is that it explains the difference between the experience of simply having pleasant sensations in the spine and the much more powerful experience of having a ``freight-train''-like full kundalini experience.

The second opinion, espoused by Swami Shivom Tirth for example, is that prana and kundalini are absolutely equivalent and that it is not meaningful in any way to describe a difference between kundalini rising and prana rising. When posed with question as to how to distinguish between pleasant sensations that show some pranic-activity in the spine and the much more powerful experience Swami Shivom Tirth said that the difference is not in the nature of the activity but in the consciousness that observes it. If the consciousness that experiences the pranic activity is seated within the spine (or more correctly, the central channel, known as the sushumna), then the experience is felt much more powerfully.

The third opinion, espoused by the modern hatha yogin, Desikaran, is that pranic awakening is the true experience to be aimed for and kundalini is actually an obstruction. Desikaran sees the kundalini as a block in the central channel and thus the kundalini must be ``killed'' to make way for the prana. This is the most unusual view of the three.

The Chinese concept of qi (or chi) can be safely identified with the Indian concept of prana.

If all this seems confusing - don't worry, you're in good company. My conclusion is that these are all different terminologies for dealing with a common set of experiences. Any one of these viewpoints is adequate for describing the full range of experiences. What is probably more relevant is to distinguish two different experiences which are often confused. In one an individual experiences some pleasant energizing electric energy running along the spine. This experience itself brings about a wide range of experiences and results in vitality and sensitivity.

Another very distinct experience is the experience of kundalini entering the sushumna and rising up the spine. As soon as kundalini enters the sushumna this experience will completely overwhelm ordinary waking consciousness. From the moment that kundalini enters the sushumna there will no longer be a distrinction between the subjective consciousness which experiences and the object of experience. This experience much more profoundly transfigures consciousness.

If kundalini is universal, why do some kundalini yogins seem to have more kundalini-energy than others?

It's an intriguing question. If an individual's kundalini is viewed as simply a personal reservoir of a cosmic energy then why would one person appear to have more of a reservoir of kundalini energy than another? Nevertheless, this does appear to be the case. This is probably another advantage of the viewpoint that prana (or qi) is the same as kundalini.
Some Chinese texts distinguish between ``innate qi'' or ``pre-natal qi'' that one is born with and ``cultivated qi'' that can be developed. Clearly some people simply have more ``innate qi.'' This manifests as a stronger more resilient body and greater general vitality.

Through training those that have relatively weak ``innate qi'' may surpass those who have strong ``innate qi'' but do not train. There are many stories in the Chinese literature of Qi Gong about people who took up Qi Gong in order to improve their poor health became powerful martial artists or great qi gong masters. Of course those that have strong ``innate qi'' and also train their qi may develop the strongest qi of all.

What does kundalini have to do with spiritual enlightenment? What is the goal of kundalini yoga?

First we need a few concepts: In yogic anatomy the sushumna is the central channel and conduit for the kundalini energy that runs along our spine and up to the crown of our head. Along this channel are placed additional channel networks called cakras. These cakras are associated with major aspects of our anatomy - for example our throat, heart, solar plexus, and in turn these aspects of our anatomy are related to aspects of our human nature.
According to the literature of kundalini yoga our experience of these centers is limited due to knots which restrict the flow of energy into these centers. Three knots are particuarly important. The knot of Brahma which restricts the center at the base of the spine. The knot of Vishnu which restricts the heart center and the knot of Rudra which restricts the center between the eyebrows. These knots form an important framework in yogic thinking and the stages toward enlightenment are articulated in terms of breaking through these knots in the yogic classic the Hatha Yoga Pradipika as well as in some of the yoga upanishads. Specifically, four stages of progress are described:

arambha

ghata

parichaya

nishpatti

Arambha is associated with breaking the knot of Brahma and the awakening of kundalini.

Ghata is associated with breaking the knot of Vishnu and and with internal absorption.

Parichaya the absorption deepens and in

nishpatti the knot of Rudra is pierced and the kundalini may ascend to the center at the crown of the head. In this state transcendence is integrated and, according to the yogic liteature, the yogi has nothing more to attain.

Putting these elaborate physiological decriptions aside, the goal of kundalini yoga is the same as the goal of any legimitate spiritual practice: To be liberated from the limited bounds of the self-centered and alienated ego. In kundalini yoga this is associated with internal manifestations of the kundalini but the external manifestations should be similar to any other legitiimate spiritual practice.

So does everyone agree that kundalini awakening is necessary for enlightenment?

The view that kundalini awakening is necessary for enlightenment is held in the diverse literature of Kashmir Shaivism and in other Hindu Tantric literature. It is found in the literature of the Hatha Yogis and the Nath Sampradaya. You will find similar views in many Buddhist Tantric works. In addition this view is held by recent spiritual figures such as Shri Ramakrishna, Swami Sivananda, Paramahamsa Yogananda and Swami Vivekananda and of course by contemporary kundalini yogins themselves.

Nevertheless there are some dissenters from this view. These include Sri Chinmoy, Da Free John and Gurdjieff. Dissent can take a number of different forms. For Gurjieff kundalini is associated only with a binding force that leads us to be more attached to the world. Such a view of kundalini is not entirely inaccurate but only reflects the functioning of kundalini in the lower energy centers. For Sri Chinmoy kundalini is an amplifying function that may make an individual more powerful but not more enlightened. From my perspective this also only addresses the impact of kundalini while it operates in the lower energy centers.

Da Free John (born Franklin Jones, a. k. a. Da Love Ananda) has a much more fundamental criticism of kundalini. As far as I understand his position, for him enlightenment cannot be the result of an experience; it is a cognitive transformation. Kundalini may evoke a wide variety of experiences but these are not in and of themselves enlightening. This is an interesting perspective but it seems to assume that the raising of kundalini is an experience in which an ego-consciousness experiences a separate object known as kundalini. Again, this view is consistent with the experience of kundalini in the lower energy centers in which the ego is detached from the movement of kundalini and kundalini experiences are precieved as separate from oneself. However, I would argue that as kundalini rises the ego-consciousness becomes infused in a more fundamental consciousness of cit-shakti-kundalini and this experience does in fact produce a fundamental cognitive change.

Finally, there are many other spiritual practices, such as Zen, Vipassana meditation that consider kundalini irrelevant. Some practitioners or even teachers of these paths, such as Jiyu Kennet, may have kundalini experiences but generally kundalini is not a pivotal part of these paths.

Can I use kundalini yoga simply to improve my health?

Yoga exercises which were traditionally used to purify the body in preparation for awakening the kundalini can also be used simply to improve the health. To practice techniques aimed at actively awakening kundalini with the goal of simply improving your health seems to be a misuse of these powerful techniques.

There are those that teach kundalini yoga principally emphasizing its benefits on health without much discussion of the spiritual benefits. This is how hatha yoga has been taught in the west for some time. The affect of this approach depends on the attitude of the student. There is certainly nothing wrong with trying to improve your health but there is a tension between awakening an energy that will ultimately burn up the ego and trying to shape that energy to simply fulfill an ego-oriented motive.

Is there any scientific basis for kundalini and the cakras? Do I really have to believe that all these cakras physically exist?

Research on kundalini is especially spotty. There is no compelling work to show that the system represents insights into actual human anatomy. But it's important to understand that kundalini and its network of channels and cakras is simply how yogins have chosen to explain their experience and that yogins from many cultures have arrived at similar, though not identical, concepts. The true physical mechanisms underlying these experiences may be very different from those described. Izaak Benthov has proposed a model to explain kundalini in terms of micro- motion in the brain. In this model experiences are associated with parts of the body, such as the heart, because the part of the brain associated with that part of the body is stimulated by micro-vibrations. His model is treated in ``The Kundalini Experience'' by Sannella referenced below. From a practical perspective the key thing is our subjective experience and that the roadmap of these subjective experiences has been mapped out.

Is Chinese qi gong a kind of kundalini yoga?

If there is any contemporary teaching that is even more diverse in approach than kundalini yoga it must be qi gong. As a result it is hard to compare kundalini yoga to qi gong. From my limited exposure to qi gong it is clear there are many qi gong practices that are identical to kundalini yoga practices. What is also clear is that may qi gong practitioners have reported experiences that are identical to those of kundalini yogins. In so far as each of these practices aims at eliminating blocks to the qi/prana energy then they share a common ground.

What about Tibetan Buddhism - has kundalini been known in Tibet?

Kundalini yoga in the Natha Sampradaya and Vajrayana in Tibetan Buddhism both take their origin from the Mahasiddhas who were active in India from the 8th century to the 12th century. Kundalini yoga practices formed the core of the teachings of a number of these Mahasiddhas and are strongly represented in both Tibetan Buddhist practices and contemporary kundalini yoga practices. Kundalini yoga was spoken of as ``Candali yoga'' by these Mahasiddhas and became known as gTummo rnal 'byor in Tibet. Candali yoga was a key practice of the famous Tibetan yogin Milarepa. The role of kundalini yoga in Tibetan Buddhism is discussed in more detail in the Kundalini Yogas FAQ.

Are there any other traditions that show awareness of kundalini?

If you believe that kundalini is at the basis of spiritual progress then every valid spiritual tradition must have some awareness of kundalini. Christianity (especially Quakerism and Pentecostalism), Sufism, Qabalistic mysticism, alchemy and magick all have literature which demonstrates some awareness of the kundalini process but these traditions are not, to this author's awareness, so open in their exposition of the techniques and so it is hard to judge the depth of understanding latent in these traditions. Nevertheless, the imagery is so unmistakable in these traditions that each must have, at least at one time, been conversant with the movement of kundalini.

So how do I awaken kundalini?

Indirectly kundalini can be awakened by devotion, by selfless service, or by intellectual enquiry. In these paths the blocks to the awakening of kundalini are slowly removed. Occasionally, individuals on these paths will experience a sudden awakening of kundalini but generally because the blocks are slowly and gently removed kundalini-like experiences evolve slowly in these paths.

Broadly speaking there are two radically different direct approaches to awakening kundalini. One approach requires initiation by a guru and relies upon a technique called shaktipat, or ``descent of shakti.'' It is variously called: Siddha Mahayoga, Kundalini Mahayoga or Sahaja Yoga (Spontaneous Yoga). These approaches are treated in the Siddha Mahayoga FAQ. The other approach uses intentional yogic techniques . The styles using intentional techniques include Mantra Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Laya Yoga or Kriya Yoga. These approaches are treated in the Kundalini Yogas FAQ .

Fundamentally the approach of Siddha Mahayoga and the Kundalini Yogas are different. In Siddha Mahayoga the guru awakens the kundalini and after that the core of the practice is the inactive and non-willful surrender to kundalini. In Kundalini Yogas the will is used to awaken the kundalini and to guide its progress. Clearly these are different approaches.
Nevertheless, elements of the each approach occur in the practices of the other. Siddha Mahayogins may use asanas, pranayamas and other hatha yoga practices. On the other hand gurus in Kundalini Yoga may give infusions of shakti to their students to help them at particular points in their practice.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using effort, in kundalini yogas, as opposed to the grace of the guru, in siddha mahayoga, to awaken kundalini?

Since every practitioner brings his own unique inclinations and obstacles to the practice of yoga it is very hard to generalize on this point. In terms of actually awakening kundalini gurus of Siddha Mahayoga claim that the kundalini is more easily and reliably awakened by the grace of the guru than by individual effort. In my limited experience I would agree. with this assertion. While not every long-term student of either practice necessarily shows signs of kundalini awakening it is amazing how many people have had instant awakenings of kundalini through initiation from siddha gurus.

In terms of encountering difficulties along the path the siddha gurus would also claim that fewer problems due to kundalini awakening, such as mental imbalance, are encountered by students of Siddha Mahayoga. Here I think the results are mixed. It seems to me that the guidance of the teacher in either Siddha Mahayoga or Kundalini Yoga is more a determining factor than which style of kundalini practice is employed.

Generally speaking each style of practice has its strengths and weakness. The strength of Siddha Mahayoga is the ease with which it awakens the kundalini. The weakness is that because the kundalini is so easily awakened by the guru students of Siddha Mahayoga often have completely undisciplined personal meditation practices. Time is spent instead to trying to recreate some of their initial experiences by following the guru around hoping for his or her grace Some people spend 20 or more years in this manner without ever developing an inner core of practice or experience.

The strength of the family of Kundalini Yogas is that the progress is at least apparently more under the control of the student of the yoga. These students seem more likely to have disciplined personal practices and more of an understanding of how the practice relates to their own experience.
Unfortunately for some students this leads to a fairly egotistical approach to their practice and ultimately the kundalini energy is used to bolster the ego rather than to merge the ego in bliss.

What are the signs of an awakened kundalini?

Briefly, according to classical literature the signs of an awakened kundalini can be grouped into: mental signs, vocal signs and physical signs. Mental signs can include visions that range from ecstatically blissful to terrifyingly frightful. Vocal signs can include spontaneous vocal expressions that range from singing or reciting mantras to make various animals sounds such as growling or chirping. Physical signs include trembling, shaking and spontaneously performing hatha yoga postures and pranayamas.

From a more subjective perspective the more pleasant experiences associated with a kundalini awakening may include: waves of bliss, periods of elation, glimpses of transcendental consciousness. The less pleasant experiences associated with a kundalini awakening may include: trembling, sharp aches in areas associated with the cakras, periods of irrational anxiety, sudden flashes of heat.

Are these methods of awakening kundalini dangerous? What about Gopi Krishna's books?

If we take the psychological perspective and view kundalini as the power latent in our unconscious then it is easy to understand that awakening this force is going to bring a greater amount of unconscious material into our consciousness. Even in the best of circumstances this is likely to be uncomfortable and if an individual is barely coping with his unconscious even under normal circumstances then awakening kundalini may push the individual over into psychosis. This phenomenon has been documented many times.

Forceful methods of awakening kundalini pose additional dangers. Because quite forceful methods can be used to awaken kundalini these techniques themselves are potentially physically and mentally disruptive. An individual named Gopi Krishna awakened his kundalini by doing unguided meditation on his crown cakra. His life after awakening was both blessed by ecstatic bliss and tormented by physical and mental discomfort. Eventually his experience stabilized. He wrote down his experiences in a recently re-released autbiography entitled ``Living with Kundalini.'' Gopi Krishna's autobiography appears to be an honest representation of his experiences but it is only one extreme datapoint in the panorama of experience on kundalini yoga. It represents dangers in forceful unguided practice but it is not representative of a typical practicioner's experience.

But even if kundalini is dangerous, isn't it a faster way to enlighenment?

First of all it may be useful to observe that there is no technique currently known on earth that appears to be rapidly catapulting large number of individuals toward enlightenment. Because kundalini yogas deal so directly with a powerful enlightening force it seems natural that they would be ``faster'', but there appears to be alot of tortoise and hare phenomena at work with newbie kundalini yogins. Many people begin kundalini yogas, have strong initial experiences and then become frightened. Many who perservere through this initial phase become distracted by the energy and focus on temporal and phenomenal applications of the energy.

There have been many scandals among kundalini yoga teachers - particularly sexual scandals. Is there a correlation between sexual scandals and kundalini yoga practice?

There have been scandals regarding the teachers of many paths, both spiritual and non-spiritual ; however, it is probably fair to say that kundalini yogins have had more than their share. Since the first publication of these frequently-asked-questions in 1994 more than one well-known kundalini yoga teacher has been implicated in having clandestine affairs with students and has been asked to step down from his position as spiritual leader as a result.

An advanced kundalini yogin is typically a powerful charismatic individual who has the ability to directly influence the minds of others. Westerners often mistake this power as a sign of enlightenment and allow such teachers liberties as a result.

In addition it is quite common for kundalini yoga to temporarily accentuate the sex drive. This period requires extra discipline. Finally, kundalini yoga is closely associated with tantrism and sex is often used in conjunction with tantric practice. Where sex is used there is of course the opportunity for misuse or abuse.

If my kundalini is awakened will I need to change my lifestyle?

It's hard to have your cake and eat it too. If you awaken kundalini in order to change and enrich your life it's reasonable to expect you may need to change your lifestyle as a result. The recommendations of both classical literature and experience is that sleep and diet will need to be moderated otherwise severe discomfort may arise. Furthermore without moderating sexual activity and physical work it will be hard to experience much success with kundalini. The extent that these elements of your life need to change depends on the nature of the individual. While genuine mental imbalances arising from kundalini are rare nearly every kundalini yogin will find periods when one needs to be especially sensitive to needs for sleep, quiet and diet

The “dark” ones

I have a really hard time with this, and no matter which way I look at it I can’t understand the purpose or the reasoning.

If you believe that we are being controlled and manipulated then please give me your opinion as to why.

Why is it necessary? I do not believe it is for our good, or the good of the whole.

It is greed? No, I think not. It would be better served by not controlling, control is short sighted.

Is it for our own good? Maybe originally but look at the stage of the world and look what power we have to make changed, but little change is made.

Why is there so much energy put into suppression? Why keep us stupid?

I do not agree that there is a NEED to keep people in fear. The only need would be if you’re afraid of losing something, but if they understood that there is nothing to lose then why the fear?

There is a lot of intelligence and energy that goes into steering the human mind. We have all the infrastructure to educate the people; Internet, TV, radio, etc…why is it not being done? Instead it is used to fragment. I disagree with the concept that we are getting ready for a change. We can have change at anytime, why wait?

I understand that things change slowly, but why? What is so important about slow? Would God as a whole rather suffer in pain, or dig itself out of a hole? If one part of God knows then why do we need to keep repeating the same mistakes?

From the time that I was young I understood that change here was needed. I’ve waited patiently and nothing is being done. In fact there is more energy put into making sure it doesn’t happen than having it happen. Why?

Greed or evil are not good enough excuses.

God's Big Lie

My friend is writing a Novel. He just finished one last week and is already on to his next. He gave me Chapter 4 of God's Big Lie to allow people to preview before the Book comes out. I'd like to open this gift up to your opinions. Good, Bad & Ugly, please share openly and honestly. When Vaughan offered to hear my feedback I suggested that Tribe would be an even better place to hear a plethora of opinions.

Chapter 4

CHAPTER FOUR:
I lay on the floor, blood seeping from my ears. Elizabeth rushed over to me, saw that I had stopped breathing, and immediately began CPR on my dwindling corpse. Pam was shrieking on her phone to 911 and the others were talking to me, cajoling me, willing me to survive, praying for me to live.
I could feel their will. I could feel the scrambling desperation pulsing from their skin. I could feel it all. It was as palpable and real as the body I was leaving.
Even in the ambulance I could feel their pain and their will pulsing from their car that followed, urging me to live, seducing me to stay here in the flesh, imploring me not to abandon them. “Stay, Stay, Stay,” their collective hearts drummed in unison, and the paramedics rubbed the two bricks together, called out “Clear” and a flashbulb went off in front of my eyes.
I felt the pull of the flesh for the briefest of moments, but it felt cold and clammy and the blood ran begrudgingly and stodgy, forced on only by the double fisted pumping of the Paramedic who valiantly tried to battle, his voice joining the others ‘Stay, Stay, Stay.”
It was all for naught as I knew it would be, and as the two paramedics scrambled out of the ambulance and hauled the stretcher towards the emergency operating theatre, they looked knowingly at each other, understanding that it was futile. I felt their resignation and saw it when they drew their cloak of professionalism across their hearts.
I left my body and swam through the millions of colorful silky layers of Life and emotion up and I looked up towards the empty Heavens above.

The Five sat in the waiting room weeping, shaking their heads in disbelief.
Less than thirty minutes ago I was with them, laughing, debating, joyous and determined, six diligent seekers of truth and knowledge striding purposefully to an answer.
Now there were five.
I was a loner. There was no real next of kin. Tracey had nobly stepped up as faux family and there were documents of Death and waivers to be signed.
She scratched her name numbly on the forms and asked the Doctor still wearing his ER fatigues
”Can we see the body?”
He lead them to the bed where my body lay and pulled open the curtains.
Tracey let out a gasp and the others joined in her suffering, the sadness swelling out of them like a balloon stretched to bursting, washing the room in grief and anguish.
There is a color that permeates from Anguish just as there is a color that exudes from every emotion. Colors not just in the optical sense of the word, but absolute colors of texture and depth, of senses and scope. Our Human eyes can only perceive the one or two dimensions of color, yet the true colors of life number in the millions. The color of Anguish is of a deep, dark rich green streaked with gold with a fiery red hue around the edges, except of course there are no edges. Absolute color is endless and spreads like an ocean with no definitive end. The fiery red hue is the Fear of loss, Fear of abandonment. The Gold is the joy of memories, past present and future, the salutatory state of acceptance and inevitability. Yet beneath those colors, those primary colors of that unique and collective experience, are more colors interspersed throughout, underneath, above, inside and out, flowing and trickling, twisting and turning. There in that hospital room, in the tumultuous swirling of emotions, the hint of Black seeps behind the Gold, Black being the color of finality and cessation. Underneath the Black, or beside it, depending on your choice of perspective, the Color of Blue shimmers almost translucent, yet vibrant. Blue is the color of Majesty as the sky above us bears daily testament to, yet Blue is also the color of richness of spirit, when its sits serenely next to White. White is the color of existence, the canvas of life.
I swam above my loved ones, for I did truly love them them, floating on and in those colors, catching the glorious sparkling bubbles of love that poured from them all, that swelled and swelled and then burst, showering my soul and I swam in Joy and Love, glistening wet with their Love.
I kissed each one of them on the cheek and whispered goodbye in their ears. I could feel them wrap their arms around the memory of me and hug it to them.
I floated there on a sea of love and anguish and I resigned myself for that which I knew must surely come.
I waited for the pull of Heaven or Hell and prepared myself for whatever God had decreed was to be my fate.
Nothing happened.
No angels with trumpets heralding my ascension, no sinister demons coming to drag me away, nothing. “Of course there wasn’t” I realized.
Heaven was empty and Hell had a wait-list.
I was incensed, outraged and insulted. I railed at God How dare he! Was He now so indifferent, so callous, that he did not care enough to at least leave a road sign to direct the dearly departed souls? If God had given us the gift of Rage then I was going to express my gratitude for the gift to Him.
In person.
I resolved there and then to go to His doorstep and demand an audience. I knew for a certainty, call it instinct or plot, that He was there in His house, right then, right at that moment, perhaps having stopped back to pick up a forgotten toothbrush for His holiday in Hell.
I soared upwards to the Heavens at a furious speed grim and indignant, swimming with giant angry strokes cleaving through the clouds. I swam directly to the Gates of Heaven still unattended and wide open for trespass.
I landed on the edge of Heaven and without a break in stride or purpose I marched through the gates and strode up to the house with “God” on the nameplate. I hammered on the door fiercely, with everything I could muster.
“Open up,” I demanded.
The sound of hammering on God’s door boomed throughout the empty halls of Heaven and I pounded again, and again, and again on His door, remorseless and wrathful.
“Open up in the name of the God you are supposed to be” I roared.
I smashed my fists on the door again, with all of my strength, all of my anger, my heart and soul in that enormous blow and so voluminous was the noise that the ground of Heaven shook.
I heard giant footsteps walking towards me and the door slowly opened.
“Come in,” said God “and wipe your feet”

So I've got one for all of us E-101 Tribers. My Ex husband won't stop feeding my littlest son (or our other two children for that matter) Cow's Milk. Eli (the littlest) is VERY allergic to it. Yet my ex and his " Wisconsin Cheese & Dairy Capital of the World Dairy Dwelling" family insist on giving him Cow Milk.

He comes home to me sick.

Well let me explain one thing about our word of the hour here "Expectation" - I fucking expect my dip shit ex husband to get it through his thick head that our littlest HURTS when he drinks Cow Milk.

Why would I / should I let go of this expectation when it involves the health of my little boy? Why wouldn't I cling to this expectation and allow it to cause me to fight my ex to STOP giving him this?

Level of condescension

Do you percieve a higher level of condescension in Enlightenment Tribes and other areas which are similar? I often feel like I percieve heavier 'tones' chatting with some who think they're enlightened or rather... I percieve people here to communicate with an air of "I know something which you don't so "let me show you the way"". Not everyone and I don't look down upon that way of communicating but it turns me off sometimes when the condescension is laid on especially thick.

I feel like many here think they *know better* than the next person even though their words say otherwise. Does anyone get that feeling occasionally? Maybe I give it off myself and am completely unaware but there seems to be a propensity towards ego-mania amongst 'self enlightened' folks. I sense it a lot here lately.

Has anyone seen the trailer for "Raw For 30 Days"? It's a documentary about six people, who normally eat fast food, who decide to go 100% raw for a month. It features interviews with doctors, experts, and raw foodists including Gabriel Cousens, David Wolfe, and Woody Harrelson.

I am new to raw foods and very interested in hearing from others who are raw foodists and people who are trying to change their lives for the better. Many people in my family have diabetes and I have changed my diet and gone raw to prevent myself from also getting diabetes.

1. Be a FUNdamentalist. Ensure that the FUN always comes before the MENTAL. Realize that life is a situation comedy that will never be cancelled. A laugh track has been provided and the reason we are put in the material world is to get more material from that track. Have a good laughsitive twice a day, which will ensure regularity.

2. Remember that each of us has been given a special gift just for entering, so you are already a winner!

3. The most powerful tool on the planet today is Tell-A-Vision. That's where I tell a vision to you and you tell a vision to me. That way, if we don't like the programming we're getting, we can change the channel.

4. Life is like photography -- you use the negative to develop. No matter what adversity you face, be reassured: of course God loves you. . .

5. It is true: As we go through life thinking heavy thoughts, thought particles tend to get caught between the ears and cause a condition called "truth decay." Be sure to use mental floss twice a day, and when you're tempted to practice 'tantrum yoga', remember what we teach in the Swami's Absurdiveness Training Class: Don't get EVEN, get ODD.

6. If we want world peace, we must let go of our attachments and truly live like nomads. That's where I no mad at you and you no mad at me. That way there will surely be nomadness on the planet. Peace begins with each of us. A little peace here, a little peace there. Pretty soon all the peaces will fit together to make one big peace everywhere.

7. I know, great earth changes have been predicted for the future, so if you're looking to avoid earthquakes, my advice is simple: When you find a fault, don't dwell on it.

8. There's no need to change the world. All we have to do is toilet train the world and we'll never have to change it again.

9. If you're looking for the key to the Universe, I've got some good news, and some bad news. The bad news: There is no key to the Universe. The good news: It was never locked.

10. Finally, everything I've told you is "channeled." That way, if you don't like it, it's not my fault. But, remember: Enlightenment is not a bureaucracy, so you don't have to go through channels.

Self Actualization and Enlightenment

Hi everyone,

I've been reading the posts on this Tribe with interest, and thought I'd share some of my own thoughts I've had recently on the topic of enlightenment, and see what kinds of responses they generate.

I have never been a seeker after enlightenment myself - I've always been more driven toward creative, social, and sexual fulfillment. That said, these very drives have led me to the understanding that striving for happiness from a place of "not-good-enough" is an exercise in vain. For that reason, I've come to share many perspectives in common with those who are interested in enlightenment.

But during this last year of my life, I have noticed something peculiar.

This last year of my life, I've turned thirty (then thirty-one) and have begun to actualize many of the creative and energetic potentials that had lain dormant in me throughout my twenties.

My career thrust has become focused and energized, as I have embraced it more deeply, fully, and contentedly; I'm pursuing musical goals that make good on all sorts of musical energies that I didn't quite know what to do with for years; I have taken up the sport of boxing, through which I enjoy the adventure of confronting old fears and developing greater physical self-confidence; and I have taken up acting improv, which is allowing me to get out a certain kind of creative energy that is an important aspect of my personality.

Now, here's the interesting thing:

In traditional terms, the stuff of which I speak is not the stuff of which enlightenment is made.

And yet, this last year, I have begun to have somewhat regular visceral experiences of what I don't wish, out of humility, to call "enlightenment," but which are at least reminiscent of the kinds of things that I have heard spiritual teachers talk about.

As I have come to express more and more of my potentials on a regular basis, my ego has quieted down enormously, and in that quiet I have come to recognize that I am -- as it occurs to me in my mind -- "a part of the universe."

When I put it into words, I feel the words don't quite do the experience justice ... but I guess what I wish to say is that, as I perceive my reality as an expression in this universe, as I perceive my very existence as an expression of the existence of the universe, I come to experience myself, and every other life form, as "divine" in some way. Existence itself is experienced as some kind of wondrous miracle, and in that state, everything enjoys shimmer of wonder.

Anyhow, the words aren't perhaps the most important. What seems important is this interesting dynamic in myself I've come to discover, between self-actualization and quiet mind, or self-actualization and "enlightenment," if you want to call it that.

Because it strikes me as sensible that, if you have energies in your organism that are unfulfilled -- some repressed desire to be a chef, or an unfulfilled yearning to study bio-chemistry, or a sexual frustration that you judge and surpress rather than find new avenues for fulfillment -- that these energies would tend to express themselves in the form of obsessive thinking or other behaviors that cloud the mind.

But the more you express yourself -- the more you go out and actualize those potentials -- the more you learn to do the things you want to do -- the quieter your mind becomes and the more aware you are of the magic that existence is.

And ... I'm not saying that some people may not do well to sit and meditate and actualize ~that~ capacity of their nature. I've been meditating for years and see it as an important part of my own process.

But the self-actualization thing is something I've not heard many masters or teachers talk about, and so I figured I'd throw it out to this forum just for the fun of it.

It happened to me when I KNEW I most definitely am a spiritual being, This actually happened in the courseroom of a Scientology mission during an exercise!! Yeah, you read it right. Scientology helped me out! Big Time! I took the route most people fear and it brought me here. And it's good to be here too! I knew I was enlightened when I laughed a pure laugh in the places where I used to groan. Strangers all over the place smile at me, relax and they let me know they know too. I went on after leaving the mission and started mediating and now there's often a lavender radiance that I emit. I'm lit up, then both sides of my brain are working equally well - As indicated by a quantum biofeedback device!

true soul purpose

just some food for thought to be ruminated over...

"what's your soul purpose?" has been indeed a very popular question. i've heard and read it from numerous people every now and then. the very idea of the question is based on the belief that one's soul purpose might be different from another.

i'm in the notion that all who exist here share the same soul purpose, and that is to allow one's soul to become fully enlightened. most people die not even knowing their true soul purpose.

hence, i consider those who are aware of their true soul purpose as being very blessed. for indeed, there can be nothing greater than being fully enlightened.

in my opinion, the dead will also become fully enlightened. in other words, all spirits will ultimately become fully enlightened even if they aren't right now. this is because some of them have to undergo different stages (through other dimensions/ planes) and stuff.

anyway, my point is although spirits will finally become fully enlightened, that is, although once we're dead we'll be fully enlightened, that doesn't give one an excuse to not become fully enlightened while inhibiting a body..simply because the only/ sole purpose of the soul is to completely know itself while in the body, not when outside it..because when your soul is permanently out of your current body, you'll still be fully enlightened later.

so it makes sense to me to concise by saying that everyone's true soul purpose is mutual. most just haven't recognized it yet.

You are god. This may seem very egotistical, but actually it becomes clear that it’s just the opposite as you come to understand the next statement.

You are alone. This does not mean that you loose your family, friends and loved ones that gave you so much comfort throughout your life; it just means that they were never separate from you to begin with. They are within you.

Your mind creates the world around you.

When you die you do not dissolve back into the world around you but instead the world dissolves back into your mind.

When you come into this world you have departed from reality into a world of illusion. You have departed from the real and eternal into the unreal and temporary. This is a paradox because you never really left in the first place. There is no reason for this journey because by its very nature something that is untrue is also unreasonable and so it is that there can be no answer to the question why. It is simply natural that you are not perfect in this world and that you grow old and die. These are the characteristics of that which is not true.

Your higher self (God) is no more concerned about this process than you are concerned about falling asleep at night or expelling a breath. In fact, this process is the breath of life itself and eternal awakening.

This is just my attempt to lay out some thoughts. I have posted this in several other places like casting out a net to see what kinds of different perspectives I could get from people of different interests. It is just a starting point. My goal was to take my thoughts about a very broad and complex topic and try to distill them down to as few words as possible. The intention is that as the reader reads it they are speaking the words to themselves and considering the correctness or incorrectness of each statement. I thought it would be interesting to try to write something in such a way that as I am speaking to another I am also speaking to myself. It’s like standing between two mirrors and seeing reflections of yourself facing away from you stretching off into infinity and leaning forward to whisper a message into your own ear.

My thought is that God is alone. If you think of God as simply that creative force that creates things, and if you think of the space in which these things are created as a mind, then what would you call these things that have been created? I think that you would call them imaginary. This is why I say that God is alone and that all of creation is just imaginary.

"You, who are still holding to the idea, taught in various teachings, that I will provide a "Master" or Divine Teacher for each aspirant towards union with Me, hear My Words.

It is true I have permitted you in the past to delve into all kinds of mystical and occult books and teachings, encouraging your secret desire to acquire the powers necessary to attain this union extolled in such teachings, even to the extent of quickening in you some slight consciousness of the possession of such powers.

I have even permitted the belief that by practicing certain exercises, breathing in a certain way, and saying certain mantrams, you might attract to you a "Master" from the unseen, who would become your teacher and help you to prepare for certain initiations that would admit you into an advanced Degree, in some secret Order in the inner planes of existence, where much of My Divine Wisdom would be opened up to you.

I have not only permitted these things, but, if you can see it, it was I who led you to these books, inspired in you such desire, and caused such belief to find lodgment in your mind; -- but not for the purpose you imagine.

Yes, I have brought you through all these teachings, desires and beliefs, trying to point out to your human mind the Forces I use to bring into expression My Divine Idea.

I have portrayed these Forces as heavenly Hierarchies, and that your human intellect might the better comprehend, I pictured them as Angels or Divine Beings, Impersonal agents or executors of My Will, engaged in the process of bringing into expression My Idea that was in the beginning.

But you did not understand.

Your human intellect, enamored of the possibility of meeting and communing with one of these beings, as claimed in some of the teachings, proceeded at once to personalize Them, and began to long for Their appearance in your life, imagining that They are interested in your human affairs, and that by living in accordance with certain rules set down in certain teachings, you could propitiate Them so They would help you to gain Nirvana or Immortality.

Now I have purposely permitted you to indulge yourself with such delusions, letting you long, and pray, and strive earnestly to obey all the instructions given; even leading you on, sometimes, by giving you glimpses, in self-induced visions and dreams, of ideal beings, which I permitted you to believe were such "Masters."

I may even have caused to open in you certain faculties, which make it possible for you to sense the presence of personalities that have passed into the spirit side of life, and who have been attracted by your desires and seek to fulfill the part of Master and Guide to you.

Now the time has come for you to know that such beings are not Masters, also that Divine Beings do not call themselves Masters; that I, and I alone, your own Real Self, AM the only Master for you now, and until you are able to know Me also in your brother; --

That any being, either in human or spirit form, that presents himself to your consciousness and claims to be a Master, or who permits you to call him Master, is nothing more nor less than a personality, the same as yours, and therefore is not Divine, as your human mind understands that term, despite the many wonderful "truths" he may utter, and the "marvelous" things he may do.

Just so long as your human mind seeks or worships the idea of a Master in any other being, no matter how lofty or sacred he may seem to you, just so long will you be fed with such ideas; until, verily, I may perhaps, permit you to meet and commune with such a "Master."

If that "privilege" is vouchsafed you, it will be only in order to hasten your awakening and your consequent disillusionment, when you will learn that "Master" is indeed but a personality, even though far more advanced in awakening than you, but still a personality--- and not the Divine One your innermost Soul is yearning for you to know.

For I feed you with every idea that will operate to teach you the reality back of the seeming, and if I lead you on to apparent deception and loss of faith in all human teachings, and in all human and even Divine perfection, it is only to enable you the more clearly to distinguish between the substance and the shadow, and to prepare you for that far higher Ideal I am waiting to picture to you.

You can rise in your human personality only to the ideal your human mind is capable of conceiving. Through Desire I cause My Will to manifest in you, and through Desire I perform many wondrous works.

If you doubt this, you need only to apply the Key;

To think of a Master is to create one.

This idea of a Master, by your thinking, becomes what you desire and imagine a Master to be.

In other words, by your thinking you build around this idea, all the qualities you imagine a Master possesses. Your human mind, through Desire, through aspiration, through worship, must needs create these qualities in some imaginary being, who is still a personality, for you cannot as yet conceive of an Impersonal being.

Therefore, according to the intensity of your desire and thinking, must this idea sooner or later come into actual manifestation, either by attracting to you such a personality in the flesh, or one entitized in the realm of visions and dreams.

As your human mind is constituted, it at certain times thinks it needs a Master, one to whom it can turn with its human trials and problems for explanation and advice, thinking life's problems can be settled that way. If I draw to you one who fails you or deceives you and throws you back finally upon Me, your own Self, discouraged, disillusioned and humiliated, it is only that perhaps then you will be ready to turn to Me within, and will listen to My Voice, which all these years has been speaking to you, but to which your proud and egoistic mind has not deigned to listen.

You who have not yet had this experience, who have not yet met the Master of your aspirations, either in human or spirit form; you, within whom My Words have failed to awaken a quickening response to their truth, -- for you I have in store certain experiences which will surely lead you to Me later on, and then you will be brought to know that I AM the Master, the inspiring Idea back of and within every thought of and every aspiration towards a Master that enters your mind, whether coming from within or without.

It is taught, "When the pupil is ready the Master appears." And this is true, in a sense; but not as you have interpreted it.

Your secret desire for a Master will bring him to you, but only when I have prepared you for such appearance. But such appearance will be only an appearance of a Master. The true Master or Teacher, when He appears, you may never recognize; for He may be hidden in an interesting friend, a business associate, your next door neighbor, or in your own wife or husband or child.

You, who have risen above Desire, you who no longer seek a Master or a Teacher, or even Me, but are abiding alone in the faith of My Eternal Presence and Promise, -- for you I have in store a meeting and a communion, which will bring to your Soul such joy and blessings as your human mind is incapable of conceiving.

Now, this is a mystery, and until you can comprehend it, you are justified in claiming the above as not consistent with certain statements herein, and as contradicting teachings in My other Revelations.

Fear not; this mystery will be revealed unto you – if you truly wish to know My Meaning.

Until then, why, in your seeking, be satisfied with anything short of the Highest?

Why seek in human or spirit teacher, guide, master or angel, for the necessarily limited manifestation of My Perfection, when you can come directly to Me, God within you, the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, the Inspiring Idea back of and within All manifestations?

As I AM in You, even as I AM in any you seek, and as all the Wisdom, all the Power and all the Love they possess come only from Me, why not now come to Me, and let Me prepare you also so I can express My All through You?

You are a human personality, yet You are Divine and therefore Perfect.

The first of these truths you believe, the latter you do not believe.

Yet both are true. -- That is the mystery.

You are just what you think You are.

One or the other, which are you? -- Or both?

You are One with Me. I AM in You, in Your human personality, in Your body, mind and intellect. I AM in every cell of Your body, in every attribute of Your mind, in every faculty of Your intellect. I AM the Soul, the active Principle of each. You are in Me. You are a Cell of my Body; You are an Attribute of My Mind; You are a Faculty of My Intellect. You are a part of Me, yet You are I, My Self. We are One, and always have been.

This idea of a Master I brought to your mind’s attention was only to lead you to and prepare you for this Idea of Me, your Impersonal Self, an Angel of Light, a Radiation of My Being, your own Divine Lord and Master, within.

Yes, I, your Divine Self, AM the Master your Soul has caused you to seek, and when you do find Me, and know I AM your Self, then will you in your human consciousness gladly become My Disciple, will lovingly wait upon Me, and will be concerned only that you faithfully serve Me, both within yourself and within your fellow men. And then will you understand why only "One is your Master, even Christ."

For I as the Christ dwell in all men and AM their One and Only Self. Through all men I AM ever calling to you and trying to reach and impress your human consciousness. As I AM continually teaching you, not only through all men but through every avenue needed at the time, I have many ways of reaching your consciousness and utilize all to bring you to a realization of My Meaning.

I speak with many voices, -- with the voice of all human emotions, passions and desires. I speak with Nature’s voice, with the voice of Experience, even with the voice of human knowledge.

Yes, these are all My Voice, which I use Impersonally to express to you the one fact, that I AM in All and that I AM All. What this Voice says, in Its thousand ways, is that you, too, are part of this All, and that I AM in you, waiting for your recognition of Me and your conscious cooperation in the expression of Me Idea of Impersonal Perfection on earth, even as It is expressing in Heaven.

When this recognition comes, and then only, are you ready to meet and know a real Master. Then and then only will you realize why I, your own Impersonal Self can be and AM the only possible Master of your human personality.

Then also will you understand why in your personal, separate consciousness you could never recognize or know a real Master should you meet Him in a physical body, -- that not until you are able to enter into your Christ Consciousness, My Consciousness within you and within Him, He would not exist to you other than perhaps as a kind and helpful friend or teacher.

When you have attained to that Consciousness, then only will you be worthy and qualified to know and commune with your fellows in the Great Brotherhood of the Spirit, Those who have mastered self and Who live only to help Their younger brothers also to find the Divine One within.

If a being should come into your life who seemed to you Divine and who let you think or call him a Master, he is not yet wholly Impersonal. Such a one might be a master-man, but he would not be the Divine One your Soul yearns to serve.

Perhaps you would be satisfied to have such a one for a Master, even if he were not wholly Impersonal. If so, then I would hereafter bring you to a realization of his personal imperfections by a constant comparison with My Impersonal Perfection; until you would finally turn and come to Me in complete abandon, acknowledging Me and My Impersonality as the only Model and Ideal, and as the true Cause which inspired your long search without for My Perfection, that could be found only within, hidden deep within your own Soul."

I only ask that whoever reads this that they understand my position, I am not looking for pity, I am looking for a place, I have yet to find it but from the day I was born I knew it existed.

I beg to whomever reads this to find it in their heart to help me. I beg, I beg, please will you hear me out, I beg that you will, I have never felt so desperate before in my life, I wish to learn, I need to learn, for myself and for my family and friends and for the people around me. I need to know what it is you know, I need to know how to unlock my mind, to free my mind, I can only say I have a clue about how this universe and how my mind works, I know the power to be there yet I am poisoned. I deny the feeling everytime I am face to face with it, I close the door everytime my mind wants to release itself. I am fully aware, yet I am completely unaware. Please hear me out.

My father pressures me with the opinions of this world constantly and I cannot take it much longer, for a short explanation, he hates me, he hates what I am and my philosophy. He wishes to see me excel in this life, but excel in all the wrong directions if you know what I mean.

I do not have much time to learn these techniques, these abilities, my father grows impatient daily and I fear I will lose my source to the internet soon, I fear I will lose it all and become a useless human in this world, I do not wish to live this life without a purpose, I need to know what that purpose is. I am positive I can find out that purpose on my own but I still need to train, I need to learn the techniques, but I am discouraged, I do not have the time. What I fear the most, is that I may have waited too long to discover about my mind. It may be too late, I might not be ready for the next era, but I do know one thing.

My mind is that of a mimic. I can mimic alot of different things. I have found subtle ways to change the way I feel physically only gently, but I understand the concept. But I keep clinging to my physical body, and thats my problem, I am poisoned, I keep clinging to this world, the materialistic world, I hold it dear but I am at a crossroads. I know there is something more, I know there is something deeper, I almost felt it last night. For the first time I attempted to sleep while listening to an audio program designed to induce a lucid dream. I was so close I could almost see it. I knew I wouldn't have one before I started listening, probly because of just that, I "knew" I wasn't going to have one the first time, but I felt drastically different while relaxing my body and letting the music play.

I found it, I was almost there, but I kept myself back because I am unsure, I am insecure, I do not know, it is my nature as human, as an American human. I know its there, the logic behind it makes sense yet it makes no sense at all and that is what I am starting to understand.

I am sorry for babbling, I apologize for interrupting your work if you were working, I understand faintly your position in this world and believe me I would never ever dare try to stand in your way or prevent you from doing it. I come to you in need of assistance, because I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that once I let go, once I free my mind, once I accomplish this feat, those that attempt to silence this secret will know. They who have poisoned us will tremble, they will fear me more than they fear the secret itself. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, if I can just get there, I will dominate my mind, and I will dominate the opposition. I fear them now as I am now because I am useless, but give me a purpose, give me a means, lead me to the gate, I promise you your efforts will not be in vain, I PROMISE you I will do everything in my immediate power to raise awareness DRASTICALLY. I promise you I will prevent them from accomplishing their goal, they will not defeat us.

I am so scared, I am at a loss, I just don't know what to do. From what I hear, these monsters deliberately poisoned us because they fear us, they fear our potential. I recognized the control on America at a young age just by watching TV and understanding the ultimate reality of the TV itself. It is cruel to lead us astray, wouldn't you agree? It makes me furious, at the same time, the humans that were controlled are blameless, I cannot hold any one human being on this planet that has existed and will exist at fault, because, ultimately, to me atleast and ultimately to my mind and my reasoning capabilities as they are now in this linear world, they are all blameless, misinformed. I pity them and I wish I could've helped them but I am at a loss like I said, I just don't know what I can do, because I'm sure showering them with materials isn't going to help them.

I don't mean to sound arrogant or complacent in regards to those that poisoned us, believe me I have nothing to gain for running around with that attitude, but please you must understand me, I was born on the land they name America, the single most poisoned nation in this world. But I can see through every one of America's tricks, I read it like a book, they do not fool me. I just know if I can do these abilities, I will be of extreme usage for you personally in the near future. Please realize my reasons for contacting you and my reasons for needing this ability, I need it to help my friends, my family, but I am not one to judge, I will proceed to help everyone and anyone I can, I feel I must do this, I HAVE TO do this if I have an ability as great as I hear. I cannot let this be a secret anymore, but I'm sure you understand how robotic we as Americans are, they can't just believe something on a whim, I can't just tell them and now they're on the bandwagon. I must show them. Please, I beg of you, I beg, please help me.

"Life" and "Death" and Jigsaw puzzles

another one of those moving thoughts i wrote at uni..i didn't post this earlier because i thought it was very direct, and didn't think that most people would benefit from it..regardless, i'm posting it now..

Let's take a walk down memory lane for a brief moment. Remember the
time when you used to be (or perhaps still is!) excited about fixing
jigsaw puzzles and stuff?

Spending much time searching and putting the pieces together
(especially if it's a tough puzzle!). However, when you're done with
it, you feel a sense of accomplishment, and admire the entire picture
of the puzzle - whatever it may be.

You might either tear it down soon after that or perhaps leave it for
a while before breaking up into its pieces. Some might go the other

Taking this analogy into "life" and "death"...

If you haven't guessed by now,

The jigsaw puzzle = your life/ incarnation/ whatever term you wish to use

The fixing of the puzzle = you trying to fix different aspects of your
life. the truth of the matter is, as long as you're not a fully
self-realized being now, you're fixing part(s) of your life! It may be
different parts for different people, but essentially, the same thing.

The breaking up of it= death. An interesting thing to take note of
here is that you might later wish to buy a new puzzle, or re-do the
same old one. That is, you either choose to get yourself into the same
types of circumstances everytime (might be caused of a feeling of
security), or you prefer to try out different situations in whatever
time frame you wish.

Anyway, whatever puzzle you may choose to do next, the bottomline is
you feel inclined to do it - again. Although you sometimes felt
frustrated not finding the right pieces!

All challenges that happen to you are not caused by something else,
but you. The interesting part is you don't cause it to happen because
you're foolish or anything (heh), but because you enjoyed the sense of
accomplishment/ pleasure/ or whatever feeling you gained out of it.
However cynical this might sound when applied to real life, you'll see
a glimpse of the Truth if you look beneath the surface!

So you, on your own accord, choose to do it again. You will keep doing
this for as long as you like - till you get fed up with puzzles, and
swear not to do another one ever again!

But later, many, many years down the road, you reminisce the past of
you fixing those little pieces together, and might be inclined to do
it again.

'Life' and 'Death', thus, are games we choose to play because we find
pleasure in it! Boredom serves as an excellent reason (for me at
least!). Short term memory loss is also another! Some might forget how
annoyed they were when they were fixing those tough ones, and might
attempt similar ones later.

Now dear soul, does it not give you some sort of strength, courage and
encouragement to know that it is You who's behind Your existence?

P.S. if you're one of those who had never fixed a jigsaw
puzzle before, don't worry, you're fixing a way bigger puzzle right
Now!

Ultimate Fitting In

just one of those 'messages' i wrote when i was at uni..

You are fitting in, right Now.

How, you ask?

You know of those who fit in at schools, working places and so forth.

But fitting in does not just come in those rigid aspects.

In the bigger picture, you're trying to fit yourself in - right at
this moment. (note to self: relevance to jigsaw puzzle analogy. individuals=
pieces of the puzzle)

The bottomline is everyone is Fitting in at all times, or more
precisely, everyone is Trying to fit in, some harder than others; some
more apparent in the gross/ physical level, others more apparent on
the subtle level. But even the notion of fitting in, in the physical
level is primarily based on subconscious thoughts of unity, which is
the basis of any kinds of fitting in.

In this analogy, the search for enlightenment/ full self-realization
could be summed up in 3 words.

Ultimate Fitting In.

Fitting in, in multiple levels. (note to self: ruminate this later!)

P.S. So the next time you see someone trying hard to fit in, try not
to place a negative judgement on that person, but remember instead
that you're trying to fit in as well - although it might be on another
level!

Ancient Document

I read somethng that piqued my interest, if for nothing other than being a well thought out imaginative story. I wanted to share it with a friend but can't remember the name of the document. It's very abstract and I couldn't find a whole lot about it on the net, suprisingly.

It's a couple thousand pages long and has to do with our history as a race. Wish I could remember more. It was really intriguing. I believe it had mentioned that we did not start on this planet or perhaps other life mixed with ours. There is NOT any author as it mentions somewhere in the texts that if an author was known, it would take away from the meaning.

Ring this bell for me PLEASE.

Well let's be clear here. Which definition are you talking about when you say judgment and what's bad / good about it?

Law

At the root of the word, judgment is what makes us who we ARE. We are constantly judging the world around us, we have to in order to survive, thrive and excel. What makes our friends our friends and others stand apart from the word we consider to be 'friend'? The judgments we make about them, otherwise we wouldn't have friends or anything else...we mine as well be a walking, breathing rock and what would the point of living then be?

IMO, what hinders others and self is the inability to CHANGE a judgment on a thing or person to suit Acceptance, Forgiveness & Love. It's not judgement that hurts me, it's where the judgment STEMS FROM. Fear or Love? Judgment is not bad, it's a necessity. But do we judge in fear or in love? In courage or in weakness?
